Methods: This was a retrospective study. A total of 200 patients with novel coronavirus pneumonia (NCP) admitted to The First Affiliated Hospital of Hebei North University between December 2022 and March 2023 were selected and divided into the observation group(n=100) and the control group(n=100) according to different nursing methods used.

Objective: To explore the efficacy of the nutritional support team (NST) management model in patients undergoing total gastrectomy combined with Roux-en-Y anastomosis.
Methods: Clinical data of 102 patients who underwent total gastrectomy combined with Roux-en-Y anastomosis in Xingtai Central Hospital from January 2020 to October 2023 were retrospectively collected. Of 102 patients, 53 received the NST model of management (NST group), while 49 were managed by the conventional nutritional support (TN group).

Background: We compared the safety and efficacy of holmium laser enucleation of the prostate (HoLEP) and transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP) in elderly men (aged ≥75 years) with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).
Methods: A retrospective analysis of 151 patients (HoLEP: 72; TURP: 79) was conducted. Preoperative and postoperative parameters, including prostate size, International Prostate Symptom Score (IPSS), catheterization duration, hospital stay, and perioperative complications (incontinence and dysuria), were analyzed.

Misoprostol, a synthetic prostaglandin E1 analog, is increasingly used for cervical ripening to ease hysteroscopic procedures.
