Introduction: "Pelvic rib", "pelvic digit (finger)", or "eleventh digit (finger)" is a rare congenital anomaly, in which a finger-like bony structure is present in the soft tissue in the pelvic or abdomen (less common) area.

Case Presentation: This case report presents a symptomatic "pelvic digit" discovered in a patient referred to the radiology department after prolonged unilateral hip pain, especially during long walks. To our knowledge, this is the first case report of unilateral pelvic digit occurrence in our region.

A pelvic digit is a rare congenital anomaly and is often discovered incidentally. We present a 44-year-old male patient with bilateral pelvic digits discovered on a pelvic radiograph during a primary survey after a road traffic accident. Supplementary imaging using computed tomographic imaging confirmed the bilateral finding which is rare.

While rib fractures are common in blunt thoracic trauma, dislocations of the costovertebral joints (CVJs) are extremely rare and typically involve the first, eleventh, or twelfth rib. We report a rare case of dislocation of the left fourth and sixth CVJs in a 36-year-old man who was run over by a car. The rib heads were displaced anteriorly, abutting the aorta.
