AI Article Synopsis

  • The study involved 300 patients with coronary heart disease who experienced different needling sensations during acupuncture at the Neiguan point.
  • Patients reporting compound sensations like sourness-distension and distension-numbness had a higher rate of post-stimulation response (PSM) and better acupuncture outcomes.
  • Conversely, patients who felt pain did not exhibit PSM and had poor results, indicating a correlation between needling sensations, PSM occurrence, and acupuncture effectiveness.
