Background: Testicular seminoma is the most common malignant tumor of the testis. It occurs at a rate of 5 per 100 000 men, primarily between the ages of 15 to 34. While seminomas typically occur in the testis, other primary sites include the mediastinum, the retroperitoneum, or other extra-gonadal sites.

Background: Hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH) is an immunologic syndrome characterized by excessive inflammation and tissue injury due to uncontrolled activation of the phagocytic system. The underlying mechanism is a lack of downregulation of activated macrophages and lymphocytes by natural killer and T cells. Unfortunately, the diagnosis is often delayed or missed due to the rarity of the disease, decreased awareness, and clinical picture variability.

Background: Whereas diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary nodules may be combined during a surgical resection, this approach may lead to excision of benign lesions and excessive healthy lung tissue if the lesion is difficult to localize. Bronchoscopy-guided marking of pulmonary nodules before surgery may facilitate this process, but it is limited by current technologies and often challenging as dye marking may dissipate if surgery is performed days later. We present a novel method to address this problem that allows surgery multiple days after lesion marking with accurate localization.

Background: Familial Mediterranean fever (FMF) is the most common monogenic autoinflammatory disease, associated with MEFV mutations. FMF patients can experience liver involvement, potentially leading to cirrhosis.
Objectives: This study aimed to evaluate liver involvement in FMF patients at a French tertiary centre for adult FMF.

Background: Medicare Part D covers outpatient prescription drugs for elderly beneficiaries, but requires full cost coverage once the coverage gap threshold is reached. We assessed the impact of reaching Medicare Part D threshold on out-of-pocket costs (OOP), timely treatment, and outcomes for patients with gastrointestinal (GI) cancer.
Methods: Individuals newly diagnosed with GI cancer between 2007 and 2019 were identified from the SEER-Medicare database.
