Periorbital Microcystic Adnexal Carcinoma With Distant Metastases.

Purpose: Microcystic adnexal carcinoma (MAC) is a locally aggressive adnexal carcinoma of the head and neck, which has a high tendency for recurrence. MAC rarely has distant metastasis, with only one previously reported case originating from the periorbital region. We present a patient with periorbital MAC with distant metastasis and a review of all reported patients with metastatic disease.

We present a case of a male patient in his mid-50s who presented with bullous keratopathy secondary to an anterior chamber intraocular lens, complicated by superimposed honeycomb keratopathy while on ripasudil 0.4%. The bullous keratopathy was characterised by generalised microcystic epithelial oedema, alongside more centrally located, variable-sized macrocystic epithelial oedema with a honeycomb appearance.

To describe a unique finding in ocular syphilis using multimodal imaging. A single case was analyzed. A 52-year-old man presented with chronic syphilitic posterior uveitis and was treated with intravenous and intramuscular penicillin for systemic manifestations, topical steroids, and unilateral bevacizumab for secondary macular neovascularization.
