Purpose: In this short tale, we describe a year of Pierre Chris Curry's ionizing radiation (IR) exposure, assessing and summarizing how much he has been exposed to over a year of his fictive life, cumulating the different types of exposures (either due to natural radiation, occupational and medical exposure), while staying reasonably credible. We have limited ourselves to IR exposure. As a recognized specialist in interventional cardiac surgery, Pierre provides lectures at international conferences requiring overseas flights.

Background: Povidone Iodine (PI) is the most frequent antiseptic used as a topical disinfectant in surgery. It has been reported high transcutaneous iodine absorption due to topical PI usage, but there is a lack of data in periods of excess iodine depletion.
Materials And Methods: This is a cross-sectional study designed to assess serial urinary iodine concentration (UIC) after topical administration of PI to evaluate the transcutaneous iodine absorption and the proper iodine depletion time for safe administration of Radio Active Iodine (RAI) therapy as ablative or adjuvant therapy.

Background: Predominantly macrofollicular architecture in invasive encapsulated follicular variant of papillary thyroid carcinoma (IEFVPTC-MF) is rare and often a cause of misinterpretation during pre-operative work-up and histopathology evaluation. We comprehensively evaluated the radiological, cytological, gross, microscopic, molecular and follow-up characteristics of four such cases, intending to increase its recognition and add our experience to the limited literature available.
Methods: All such histopathologically-proven cases of IEFVPTC-MF were retrieved from the departmental archives.
