Background: Although immunoglobulin (Ig) alleles play a pivotal role in the antibody response to pathogens, research to understand their role in the humoral immune response is still limited.

Methods: We retrieved the germline sequences for the IGHV from the IMGT database to illustrate the amino acid polymorphism present within germline sequences of IGHV genes. We aassembled the sequences of IgM and IgD repertoire from 130 people to investigate the genetic variations in the population.

CD47, a cell surface protein, serves as a "don't eat me" signal that prevents immune cells from engulfing healthy cells upon its interaction with SIRPα. Cancer cells exploit this mechanism by overexpressing CD47 to evade immune destruction. Blocking the interaction between CD47 and its receptor, SIRPα, is a promising therapeutic strategy.

Antibodies play a key role in medical diagnostics and therapeutics. Accurately predicting antibody-antigen binding is essential for developing effective treatments. Traditional protein-protein interaction prediction methods often fall short because they do not account for the unique structural and dynamic properties of antibodies and antigens.

Deoxynivalenol, a hazardous mycotoxin, poses significant health risks to humans and animals, necessitating highly sensitive detection methods due to its low abundance in food. Herein, we present a colorimetric sensing strategy for deoxynivalenol detection based on the inhibitory effect of silver ions on the peroxidase-like activity of Ni@Pt nanoparticles. Silver ions adsorb onto the surface of Ni@Pt nanoparticles, blocking the active site and consequently impeding their catalytic activity.

Antibodies have specific binding capabilities and therapeutic potential for treating various diseases, including viral infections. The amino acid composition of the hypervariable complementarity determining regions (CDR) loops and the framework regions (FR) are the determining factors for the affinity and therapeutic efficacy of the antibodies. In this study selected and curated, 77 viral antigen-human antibody complexes from Protein data bank from the Thera-SAbdab database were analyzed.
