Cavitary lung lesions manifest following a wide variety of pathological processes, which are typically delineated as infectious and non-infectious. With respect to noninfectious causes, malignancies are among the most worrisome, while autoimmune and embolic processes are less frequent and less severe in prognosis. While it is important to differentiate between these etiologies, treatment may resort to surgical procedures for both diagnostic and curative intent.

Biodegradable, biocompatible and non-toxic polymer-based nanoparticles are the novel nanotherapeutic tool which is used for adsorption and encapsulation drugs. Extended release formulation of Norfloxacin antibiotic, chemotherapeutic agent model, drug in the form of encapsulated and loaded poly (lactic acid) nanocomposites-based Titanium dioxide (PLA/TiO) was developed. Background: Although a radiation recall or enhancement eruption has been associated with a number of chemotherapeutic drugs, the histologic features have rarely been described.
Objective: Our goal was to define the histologic features of radiation recall and enhancement eruptions in order to better understand their pathogenesis.
Methods: We present ten patients on chemotherapeutic agents who developed erythematous maculopapular to psoriasiform eruptions often with associated follicular pustules.

In an effort to simplify chemotherapy dose calculations and reduce the incidence of medication errors, a commercially available, general database management program was used to aid in the management of an active pediatric hematology/oncology service. The software was customized to include all medications used by the specialty practice, as well as some used in a general pediatric setting. After entering a patient's height and weight, the database rapidly computes and immediately displays the patient's surface area, appropriate intravenous fluid rates, and doses of antibiotic, chemotherapeutic, and other drugs.
