Background: Shared equity homeownership - a model in which low- and moderate-income households purchase homes at affordable prices on the condition that the houses remain affordable upon resale - has been shown to produce several health-enhancing housing outcomes. These include permanent affordability, housing stability, and modest wealth-building. However, studies suggest low- and moderate-income households may sacrifice neighborhood quality when becoming homeowners, which can undermine the health benefits of homeownership.

Policies that increase contraceptive access for young women and their partners are a potentially low-cost way of reducing unintended pregnancies and improving later life outcomes. Several states have recently implemented laws that allow pharmacists to prescribe contraceptives to women without the need to see a physician. We study the effect of these state laws on fertility rates.

This article summarizes a database for analyzing the impact of structural and environmental characteristics on residential property values in Hamilton County, TN. The original dataset consists of house characteristics data for 873 residential sales between January 1, 2023, and September 25, 2023. Using Google's API tools and Point to Edge computations, several geographical variables-including the distance to green recreational areas, surrounding facilities, restaurants, air quality index, walk score-were gathered.
