Rationale: Chylothorax is a rare adverse effect that is associated with dasatinib, a tyrosine kinase inhibitor administered for chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) treatment. Most reported cases have described standard dosing. In this case report, we described a 43-year-old male patient with CML who developed chylothorax after 4 years of low-dose dasatinib therapy.

Background: Chylothorax following esophagectomy is a frustrating complication with considerable morbidity. In addition, recognizing the morphological patterns of the thoracic duct (TD) holds great significance. This study was aimed at explore the safety and efficacy of three-dimensional (3D) thoracoscope in comparison with indocyanine green (ICG) fluorescence to identify TD during minimally invasive esophagectomy (MIE) for esophageal cancer.

Purpose: Neoadjuvant chemotherapy followed by esophagectomy is the usual approach to manage esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC). The optimal interval to operate after completion of neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy (NACRT) still remains controversial.
Methods: A prospective study was conducted to observe and compare postoperative complications and pathological outcomes in patients with squamous cell carcinoma of the esophagus who underwent NACRT followed by surgery within 8 weeks or after 8 weeks of NACRT completion.

Gorham-Scout disease (GSD) is a rare skeletal disorder of unknown etiology characterized by progressive osteolysis and excessive lymphovascular proliferation. Chylothorax is a life-threatening complication. A teenager presented with a left pleural effusion on a background of chronic flank collection secondary to lymphovascular malformation.
