Objective: This study aimed to evaluate epilepsy outcome and antiseizure medication (ASM) discontinuation after lesionectomies as first surgical approach in pediatric population diagnosed with low-grade epilepsy-associated neuroepithelial tumors (LEATs).
Methods: We conducted a retrospective study. Thirty-six consecutive patients with histological diagnoses of LEATs who underwent surgery between 2018 and 2021 at our institution were included.

Objective: The features of cerebral metabolism associated with loss of consciousness in patients with temporal lobe epilepsy (TLE) have not been fully elucidated. We aim to investigate the alterations in cortical-subcortical metabolism in temporal lobe epilepsy with impaired awareness seizures (IAS).
Methods: Regional cerebral metabolism was measured using fluorine-18-fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography (F-FDG PET) in patients with TLE-IAS and healthy controls.

Objectives: To measure the accuracy of anamnestic features collected during clinical history for the diagnosis of nocturnal frontal lobe epilepsy (NFLE).
Methods: A case-control diagnostic study. Participants included a case group of people with ascertained target disease (NFLE group) and a control group of people with sleep disorders potentially confounding for NFLS (NOT-NFLE group), defined by means of a consensus procedure among experts (panel diagnosis as reference standard).

The main problems related to "early arthritis" are making an accurate diagnosis and predicting the outcome. Clinical evidence strongly suggest that structural damage occur early and that early DMARD treatment improves the long term outcome of disease. Clinical criteria would facilitate early referral of the patients to establish the risk of persistent disease.
