The quality of indoor air is dependent on a number of factors, including the presence of microorganisms that colonize the building materials. The potential for health risks associated with microbial contamination is a significant concern during the renovation of buildings. The aim of this study was to assess the impact of two reconstruction methods for historic buildings on air quality.

As many oil and gas reservoirs approach depletion stages in the future, alongside growing energy storage demands, constructing gas storage facilities becomes critical for ensuring a stable natural gas supply. Consequently, a comprehensive geological analysis is essential to evaluate the feasibility of converting depleted gas reservoirs into gas storage facilities. The W gas reservoir in the Sichuan Basin, China, is nearing depletion and presents potential for conversion into a gas storage facility.

The browning of Thompson seedless grapes during shade-drying significantly hampers the sustainable and healthy development of the industry. This study investigates the browning phenomenon and reactive oxygen species (ROS) dynamics when Thompson seedless grapes, treated with adenosine triphosphate (ATP), 2,4-dinitrophenol (DNP), and water (QS), are dried in the shade. The effects of these treatments on ROS metabolism were analyzed through physiological, biochemical, and proteomic analyses.

Morphology-controlled synthesis of covalent organic frameworks (COFs) offers significant potential for electrochemical applications. However, controlling the deposition of nanometer-scale COFs on carbon supports remains challenging due to the need for a slow COF generation rate and the dispersion of carbon supports in liquid-phase synthesis. In this study, nanometer-scale COF/carbon composites are fabricated using electrochemically generated acid (EGA) to assist in the formation of imine-type COFs, which are then deposited onto pre-cast nanocarbon supports on an electrode.
