Objectives: Different intrathoracic perfusion therapeutic regimens are available for non-small cell lung cancer with malignant pleural effusion (MPE). Antiangiogenic agents are often used to control MPE, and the results are satisfactory. Here, we performed a network meta-analysis to reveal optimal combinations of antiangiogenic agents and chemical agents and assess their effectiveness and safety.

About one-third of individuals with diabetes develop diabetic retinopathy (DR), with one-tenth experiencing vision-threatening conditions such as diabetic macular edema (DME) or proliferative diabetic retinopathy (PDR). Current treatments only show recovery in 50% of cases, and the disease often remains asymptomatic. Therefore, novel early detection methods and new biomarkers are crucial.

Background: Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) is the most common malignant brain tumor in adults. Typically treated with initial surgical resection, and chemoradiotherapy, despite current treatments, patients typically survive only 12-14 months, necessitating new therapeutic approaches. Our meta-analysis evaluates combining antiangiogenic medications with chemoradiotherapy versus using chemoradiotherapy alone in treating newly diagnosed GBM.
