Users including regular customers, clinicians, industry personnel, researchers, testing agencies, beauty salon workers, and mass media hardly possess the ability to distinguish truth from falsehood. The gap remained as one major reason for inappropriate cosmetics usage, insufficient efficacy, and even cosmetics adverse reactions (CARs).

Indications for immune checkpoint inhibitor therapy are increasing. As the population ages, many patients receiving such drugs will be older adults. Such patients are under-represented in clinical trials, and therefore the safety of immune checkpoint inhibitors in this population has not been adequately assessed.

Relapse of acute myeloblastic leukemia (AML) after first allogenic hematopoietic stem-cell transplantation (allo-HSCT) is a fatal complication. Sixty-five children transplanted for AML were included in a prospective national study from June 2005 to July 2008 to explore the feasibility of preemptive immune modulation based on the monitoring of blood chimerism. Relapse occurred in 23 patients (35%).
