Despite the significant growth in Sonali chicken production across Bangladesh, inadequate disease surveillance and control measures along with indiscriminate antimicrobial use remain major challenges to the sector. In this study, we evaluated the disease burden and antimicrobial prescription patterns of Sonali chickens in Bangladesh using a web-based data recording system from 2020 to 2021 and analyzed 1690 cases. The diagnoses recorded in the system were presumptive, as they were based on clinico-epidemiological history, clinical signs, and gross necropsy findings noted by registered veterinarians.

Materials And Methods: The retrospective and prospective cohort study with the external and internal controlgroups. The randomized sample of the male elderly participants (attained age more than 60 years old) in liquidationof the consequences of the accident (Chornobyl clean-up workers, liquidators) at the Chornobyl nuclear power plant(ChNPP) in 1986-1987 (main group, n = 52) recruited from the Clinico-epidemiological registry (CER) of StateInstitution «National Research Center for Radiation Medicine, Hematology and Oncology of The National Academyof Medical Sciences of Ukraine» (NRCRMHO) with verified chronic cerebrovascular disorders (CVD) was examined.

Objectives: Methadone is a long-acting synthetic agonist of opioid receptors, which is used as an analgesic and as an alternative treatment in opioid-dependent patients. Clinical manifestations of methadone poisoning include miotic pupils, low levels of consciousness (LOC), respiratory depression or apnea, and coma and death. Considering the high consumption of methadone in society and the prevalent instances of overdose and poisoning, whether accidental or intentional, the authors decided to investigate the clinico-epidemiological, diagnostic, and therapeutic characteristics of methadone poisoning in the Mazandaran province, northern Iran, from 2020 to 2022.

Objectives: This study was aimed to elucidate the prevalence-pattern of congenital and hereditary anomalies (CA) in the population of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), which is a logistically difficult area in the north-east of Pakistan and in the foot-hills of Himalayas.

Method: A cross-sectional clinico-epidemiological study was carried out during 2018-2020 in three districts of AJK and individuals/families with CA were recruited from hospitals, public places and through door-to-door surveys. The anomalies were classified with the help of specialized clinicians and their definitions were sought from OMIM and ICD-10 databases.
