Background: Comprehensively mapping the hierarchical structure of breast cancer protein communities and identifying potential biomarkers from them is a promising way for breast cancer research. Existing approaches are subjective and fail to take information from protein sequences into consideration. Deep learning can automatically learn features from protein sequences and protein-protein interactions for hierarchical clustering.

The poor outcome of TP53 alteration has been reported in myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) patients. However, the role of allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT) in TP53 alteration patients remains debated. Mycobacterium avium complex (MAC) is an emerging pathogen leading to public health concerns in developing and developed countries, particularly among immunocompromised individuals and patients with structural lung diseases. Current clinical guidelines recommend combination antibiotic therapy for treating MAC pulmonary disease (MAC-PD). However, the rising prevalence of antibiotic resistance poses significant challenges, including treatment failure and clinical recurrence.

WD-repeat containing protein 26 (WDR26) is an essential component of the CTLH E3 ligase complex. Mutations in WDR26 lead to Skraban-Deardorff, an intellectual disability syndrome with clinical features resembling other disorders arising from defects in transcriptional regulation and chromatin structure. However, the role of WDR26 and its associated CTLH complex in regulating chromatin or transcription has not been elucidated.

Protein kinase C (PKC) signalling has been shown to be dysregulated in various cancers including acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). We have previously determined that changes in the expression levels of SLC43A3-encoded equilibrative nucleobase transporter 1 (ENBT1) can significantly alter 6-mercaptopurine (6-MP) toxicity in ALL cells. 6-MP is a common drug used in ALL chemotherapy.
