In the experimental conditions reported the cyclophosphamide increases the pathogenic effect of Escherichia coli in mice. Treating the animals with a somatic antigen of Bacillus subtilis, reverses the aggravating effect of cyclophosphamide on the experimental infection. Similar results are obtained through the parenteral and the rectal routes. This antigen does not limit either the leucopenient effect of cyclophosphamide nor its blocking effect on the synthesis of sheep red blood cells antibody in mice.

Background: Type I interferonopathies including Aicardi-Goutiéres Syndrome (AGS) represent a heterogeneous group of clinical phenotypes. Herein, we present a Case with combined AGS and Cornelia de Lange Syndrome (CdLS)-a cohesinopathy-with comprehensive analysis of the immune and genomic abnormalities.
Case And Methods: A 20-year old man presented with chilblain lesions and resorption of distal phalanges of fingers and toes, somatic and psychomotor retardation, microcephaly, synophrys, hearing losing and other aberrancies consistent with the phenotype of CdLS.

Oropouche virus (OROV) is an orthobunyavirus endemic in the Brazilian Amazon that has caused numerous outbreaks of febrile disease since its discovery in 1955. During 2024, Oropouche fever spread from the endemic regions of Brazil into non-endemic areas and other Latin American and Caribbean countries, resulting in 13,014 confirmed infections. Similarly to other orthobunyaviruses, OROV can undergo genetic reassortment events with itself as well as other viruses.

Purpose: To investigate whether hormone receptor-positive, human epidermal growth factor receptor 2-low (HR+HER2-low) versus HR+HER2-zero early breast cancers have distinct genomic and clinical characteristics.
Methods: This study included HR+, HER2-negative early breast cancers from patients enrolled in the phase III, randomized BIG 1-98 and SOFT clinical trials that had undergone tumor genomic sequencing. Tumors were classified HR+HER2-low if they had a centrally reviewed HER2 immunohistochemistry (IHC) score of 1+ or 2+ with negative in situ hybridization and HR+HER2-zero if they had an HER2 IHC score of 0.

The application of messenger RNA (mRNA) technology in antigen-based immuno-oncology therapies represents a significant advancement in cancer treatment. Cancer vaccines are an effective combinatorial partner to sensitize the host immune system to the tumor and boost the efficacy of immune therapies. Selecting suitable tumor antigens is the key step to devising effective vaccinations and amplifying the immune response.

Expansion of atypical memory B cells (aMBCs) was demonstrated in malaria-exposed individuals. To date, the generation of P. vivax-specific aMBCs and their function in protective humoral immune responses is unknown.
