Background: People with severe mental health difficulties, including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and psychosis, have higher risk of chronic kidney disease (CKD). Little was known regarding clinical outcomes and utilisation of kidney care for people with CKD and severe mental health difficulties.
Methods: We conducted a retrospective cohort analysis of individuals with CKD attending a tertiary renal unit in London, between 2006 and 2019.

Objectives: This study aimed to assess the impact of pay-for-performance (P4P) programmes on healthcare in Taiwan.
Study Design: This was a systematic review and meta-analysis.
Methods: A systematic literature search was performed using the PubMed, Medline, Embase, Cochrane review, Scopus, Web of Science and PsycINFO databases up to July 2023.
People with severe mental health difficulties (SMHDs) often have poorer access to kidney healthcare. To better understand the barriers and facilitators to kidney healthcare for this population, we conducted interviews with nine individuals with SMHDs and four family members. Through reflexive thematic analysis, we generated three themes: (1) '' describes the need for individualised kidney healthcare, adapted to meet the specific needs of each person with a SMHD.

Extracorporeal elimination, particularly through hemodialysis and hemoperfusion, is effective in treating severe carbamazepine intoxication.
