Hollow TiO@TpPa S-Scheme Photocatalyst for Efficient HO Production Through O in Deionized Water Using Phototautomerization.

January 2025

Laboratory of Solar Fuel, Faculty of Materials Science and Chemistry, China University of Geosciences, 68 Jincheng Street, Wuhan, Hubei, 430078, P. R. China.

Hydrogen peroxide (HO) production through photocatalytic O reduction reaction (ORR) is a mild and cost-efficient alternative to the anthraquinone oxidation strategy. Of note, singlet state oxygen (O) plays a crucial role in ORR. Herein, a hollow TiO@TpPa (TOTP) S-scheme heterojunction by the Schiff base reactions involving 1,3,5-triformylphloroglucinol (Tp) and paraphenylenediamine (Pa) for efficient photocatalytic HO production in deionized water has been developed.

The impact of anti-Spike monoclonal antibody (mAbs) treatment on the immune response of COVID19-patients is poorly explored. In particular, a comparison of the immunological influence of different therapeutic regimens has not yet been performed. Aim of the study was to compare the kinetic of innate and adaptive immune response as well as the SARS-CoV-2 specific humoral and T cell response in two groups of SARS-CoV-2-infected patients treated with two different mAbs regimens: Bamlanivimab/Etesevimab (BAM/ETE) or Casirivimab/Imdevimab (CAS/IMD).

Background: Positive anti-ribonucleoprotein antibodies may characterize a subgroup of patients affected by lupus nephritis with mild kidney damage, but little is known about their clinical features and long-term prognosis.

Methods: Patients were retrospectively selected from the lupus nephritis database ( http://ln.medidata.

A site-selective coupling involving quinoxalin-2-ones with alkenes and alkynes has been developed through synergistic visible-light photoredox cobalt catalysis. This method enables C3-selective alkylation and alkenylation of both -substituted and -unsubstituted quinoxalin-2-ones, achieving high yields under mild conditions. Of note, the protocol facilitates the incorporation of two alkene units, leading to a formal three-component coupling, whereas a two-component coupling is preferred for alkynes.

Background: Several clinical trials, including the recently published the GRAND PLAN study from Vancouver Infectious Diseases Center (VIDC), have demonstrated the efficacy of hepatitis C (HCV) therapy among active drug users, including those facing significant addiction-related and social challenges. In the GRAND PLAN, we documented sustained virological response post-treatment Week12 (SVR12) in 108/117 (92.3 %) individuals (108/111 (mITT) or 97.
