This multi-institutional study investigates the efficacy of open partial horizontal laryngectomy (OPHL) as a salvage treatment, following recurrent laryngeal squamous-cell carcinoma (LSCC) after failed TOLMS.

High-grade (G3), dedifferentiated (DD), and myxoid (MY) CSs are considered more aggressive subtypes due to their metastatic potential and relatively poor outcomes.
