Background: Postmenopausal androgen excess often occurs due to the imbalance between the rapid decline in ovarian estrogen and a relatively gradual decline in androgen secretion. The rapid onset of hirsutism, alopecia, and acne, on the other hand, is a rare occurrence and requires further investigation in order to rule out an underlying neoplasm.
Case Report: A 54-year-old woman arrived at the endocrinology outpatient clinic for the appearance of hirsutism and defluvium capitis in the past 9 months.

Coxsackievirus A6 (CV-A6) has been associated with increasingly occurred sporadic hand-foot-mouth disease (HFMD) cases and outbreak events in many countries. In order to understand epidemiological characteristics of CV-A6, we collected the information describing HFMD caused by CV-A6 to describe the detection rate, severe rate and onychomadesis rate, which is defined as one or more nails defluvium, caused by CV-A6 from 2007 to 2017. The results showed that there was an outbreak of CV-A6 every other year, and overall trend of the epidemic of CA6-associated HFMD was increasing in China.

Objective: To develope a modified surgical lavage tube to improve the efficacy of the treatment of orthopaedic postoperative infection.
Methods: A retrospective analysis was performed on 126 patients who received the pulsed lavage therapy with side-hole double valve lavage tube between March 2005 and March 2010. There were 98 males and 28 females, aged 19-63 years (mean, 35 years).

HIV-protease inhibitors demonstrated such high efficacy in short-term studies that they have been approved by the FDA, even though possible toxicity still needs further investigation. In the period between January 1997 and August 1998, 101 patients, staying at San Patrignano Medical Centre (Italy), received an HIV protease inhibitor (indinavir) plus two nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors (NRTI's) selected from the following: AZT, didanosine, zalcitabine, lamivudine or stavudine. Seventy-three patients were male, 28 female and their ages ranged from 25 to 60 years, with an average of 34.
