Herein, we report the biosynthesis of pure NiO and NiO nanoparticles doped with Silver (Ag@NiO NPs) 2, 4, 6, and 8 mol% from aloe vera extract by solution combustion method at 400 °C and calcined at 500 °C for 3 h. By utilizing silver-doped NiO nanoparticles synthesized with Aloe Vera latex, which not only enhances the material's properties but also promotes environmentally friendly fabrication methods. The morphological, structural elemental compositions were analysed through SEM, HRTEM, SAED, XRD and EDAX.

Controllable preparation of inorganic nanomaterials with specific morphology and structure is very important for their applications in various fields. Herein, a general strategy was proposed to controllably synthesize nano-CaCO via a water-in-oil microemulsion method in the rotating packed bed reactor. By tuning key parameters, nano-CaCO with four primarily analyzed morphologies, including spherical, spindle-like, clustered, or linear formations, can be selectively obtained.

Boreal forests are important carbon sinks and host a diverse array of species that provide important ecosystem functions. Boreal forests have a long history of intensive forestry, in which even-aged management with clear-cutting has been the dominant harvesting practice for the past 50-80 years. As a second cycle of clear-cutting is emerging, there is an urgent need to examine the effects of repeated clear-cutting events on biodiversity.

Background: The Anopheles culicifacies complex is one of the most important malaria vectors in Southeast Asia and Southeastern Iran. Although the sibling species within this complex are morphologically indistinguishable, they differ significantly in their disease transmission potential, blood-feeding behaviour, and other biological traits. The research integrates self-organizing map (SOM) and geo-self-organizing map (Geo-SOM) to explore the relationships between environmental factors and the occurrence of various geological hazards, including landslides, slope failures, collapses, ground subsidence, and debris flows. The key findings reveal that annual average precipitation (Pre), profile curvature (Pro_cur), and slope (Slo) are the primary factors influencing the composite geological hazard index (GI) across the province.
