Purpose: To compare the clinical and radiological features of gastric and small intestinal anisakiasis with those of gastric ulcers and Crohn's disease.
Materials And Methods: In this retrospective cohort study, 205 cases of anisakiasis (148 gastric; 53 small intestinal) were identified between July 2003 and February 2022. The control groups included 130 and 31 patients with gastric ulcers and Crohn's disease, respectively.

Background: Refractory ascites (RA) remains a serious complication in patients with cirrhosis. Currently, the insertion of a TIPS is considered the standard of care in these patients. To achieve symptom control in those with TIPS contraindications, tunneled peritoneal catheters (PeCa) or ascites pumps were introduced.

Introduction: Pancreatic cancer incidence in Malaysia is steadily on the rise, now ranking as the 14th most common malignancy in the country. Despite this upward trend, research on prognostic factors affecting pancreatic cancer survival remains limited, highlighting the need for ongoing investigation to improve patient survival outcomes.
Materials And Methods: This study was conducted retrospectively by reviewing records of pancreatic cancer patients hospitalized between January 2011 and December 2018 across multiple health centres in Malaysia.

The aim of this study is to determine the epidemiological and bacteriological profile of spontaneous bacterial peritonitis, as well as antibiotic resistance among hospitalized patients at CHU Mohammed VI, in order to guide empirical antibiotic choices for better management. Methods: This is a prospective study conducted over a period of 12 months, from January to December 2023, focusing on all requests for bacteriological examination of ascitic fluid samples.
