Background: Population-adjusted indirect comparison using parametric Simulated Treatment Comparison (STC) has had limited application to survival outcomes in unanchored settings. Matching-Adjusted Indirect Comparison (MAIC) is commonly used but does not account for violation of proportional hazards or enable extrapolations of survival. We developed and applied a novel methodology for STC in unanchored settings.

Purpose: To analyze survival and its predictors among patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) receiving transarterial chemoembolization (TACE) in Ethiopia.
Materials And Methods: We conducted a retrospective cohort study among patients who received TACE for HCC at MCM Hospital from December 1, 2016, to December 31, 2022. Data were extracted from patients' medical records, and vital status was ascertained from the patients' charts or by phone call to the next of kin.

Background: Damage-associated molecular patterns (DAMPs) induced by immunogenic cell death (ICD) may be useful for the immunotherapy to patients undergoing pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC). The aim of this study is to predict the prognosis and immunotherapy responsiveness of PDAC patients using DAMPs-related genes.
Methods: K-means analysis was used to identify the DAMPs-related subtypes of 175 PDAC cases.
