The oral delivery of peptide pharmaceuticals has long been a fundamental challenge in drug development. A new chemical platform was designed based on branched piperazine-2,5-diones for creating orally available biologically active peptidomimetics. The platform includes a bio-carrier with "built-in" functionally active peptide fragments or bioactive molecules that are covalently attached via linkers.

Symptoms of the new coronavirus infection that appeared in 2019 (COVID-19) range from low fever and fatigue to acute pneumonia and multiple organ failure. The clinical picture of COVID-19 is heterogeneous and involves most physiological systems; therefore, drugs with a wide spectrum of mechanism of action are required. The choice of the treatment strategy for post-COVID-19 syndrome is still a challenge to be resolved.

The injection of BIV-30 significantly accelerated lymphocyte, monocyte, granulocyte regeneration branches of bone-marrow hemopoiesis. These results showed evidence of the hemostimulating activity of BIV-30 on the model of bone-marrow hemopoiesis deficiency.

Specific biological activity of the domestic preparation of recombinant human erythropoietin (RHEPO) in an original pill form was experimentally studied in vitro and in vivo. Administration of the RHEPO parent substance at a concentration of 0.5 10 U/ml significantly accelerated the growth of erythroid colony-forming cells (CFU-E) in the culture of intact nonadherent myelokaryocytes.
