Background: In the knee joints of patients with recurrent patellar dislocation (RPD), an increased relative tibial external rotation (rTER) is often observed. However, the changes in this parameter pre- and postoperatively remain unclear.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to reveal preoperative and postoperative changes in rTER in patients with RPD.
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the radiographic outcomes of distal chevron metatarsal osteotomy associated with lateral joint capsule split as only lateral soft tissue release in patients with symptomatic moderate and severe hallux valgus (HV) deformity. Ninety patients (103 feet) at our institution between January 2014 and December 2019 were included in the present retrospective study. Each patient was evaluated preoperatively and at final follow-up by means of weight bearing radiographs lateral and dorsoplantar views.

It was hypothesized that the stem size planned with accordance to the diaphyseal canal width alone can accommodate the distal femur successfully with no sizing mismatch. Forty-six patients (53 hips) suffering from secondary osteoarthritis due to hip dysplasia scheduled for total hip arthroplasty (THA) with a subtrochanteric transverse shortening osteotomy were included.
