The use of neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC) as a first-line therapy for advanced high-grade serous ovarian carcinoma (HGSOC) has increased. However, several studies have reported NAC-induced platinum resistance. This study aimed to evaluate the predictive impact of clinical factors on chemotherapy response score (CRS) and to select patients who would respond well to NAC.

Background: Preoperative chemoradiotherapy combined with total mesorectal excision (TME) is a standard treatment for locally advanced rectal cancer (LARC). However, lateral pelvic lymph nodes (LPLNs) are often inadequately treated with standard regimens. This study examines the treatment and postoperative outcomes in LARC patients receiving a simultaneous integrated boost (SIB) for LPLNs during long-course chemoradiotherapy.

Purpose: Radionuclide-labeled fibroblast activation protein inhibitor (FAPI) is an emerging tumor tracer. We sought to assess the uptake and diagnostic performance of F-FAPI-42 PET/CT compared with simultaneous 2-deoxy-2[F]fluoro-D-glucose (F-FDG) PET/CT in primary and metastatic lesions in patients with malignant digestive system neoplasms and to determine the potential clinical benefit.
Procedures: Forty-two patients (men = 30, women = 12, mean age = 56.

Background And Objectives: Little is known about the relationship between neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC) and perioperative morbidity for patients undergoing combined resection of rectal cancer and sLM. The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of NAC on 30-day morbidity for patients who undergo combined resection of primary rectal cancer and sLM.
Materials And Methods: A retrospective cohort study of patients undergoing combined resection of primary rectal cancer and sLM between 2016 and 2020 at participating NSQIP hospitals.

Background: Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) have emerged as the first-line treatment for driver-negative advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). However, there is uncertainty regarding the availability and timing of ICI initiation in patients with NSCLC combined with pulmonary tuberculosis (TB). Additionally, the implementation of dual therapy for anti-TB and anti-tumor treatment poses significant challenges in terms of avoiding drug-drug interactions and reducing adverse reactions during clinical diagnosis and treatment.
