Background: Epoxyeicosatrienoic acids (EETs) are closely associated with lipoprotein metabolism, and changes in lipid profiles potentially affect their levels and functions. Given the alterations in lipid metabolism after cholecystectomy, this study aimed to investigate the levels of four EET regioisomers (free and esterified) and lipid profiles in patients with cholelithiasis after laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LC) and explore correlations between these parameters.
Methods: This prospective study involved 40 patients with symptomatic cholelithiasis who underwent LC.

We analysed the long-term adaptations of resisted sprint training (RST) with combined loads on the performance and kinematics of the maximal velocity (MV). One team women's professional soccer players performed a six-week training programme with progressive sled loading from 20% to 80% of body mass. Pre-training, post-training and detraining measures were obtained for sprint times for 0-20 m, 20-30 m and 0-30 m, while step length (SL), step rate (SR), step velocity, trunk, hip, thigh, knee, shank ankle, foot and centre of mass (CoM) angles were digitised with an 18-point human model.

Respiratory infection by influenza A virus (IAV) is known to cause systemic inflammation, neuroinflammation, and cognitive impairment. We previously found that experimental infection with IAV affected oligodendrocyte homeostasis, which was associated with altered expression of genes involved in myelin maintenance as well as the lipidome. In this study, we sought to determine if clemastine, an antihistamine with myelin promoting properties, could reverse the effects of IAV on oligodendrocyte (OL) specific genes, as well as mitigate infection-induced cognitive impairment.
