In a prospective, remote natural history study of 277 individuals with (60) and genetically at risk for (217) Parkinson's disease (PD), we examined interest in the return of individual research results (IRRs) and compared characteristics of those who opted for versus against the return of IRRs. Most ( = 180, 65%) requested sharing of IRRs with either a primary care provider, neurologist, or themselves. Bernard Bornstein (1900-1975) was one of a few Polish-Jewish neurologists who escaped the tragic fate of Jews in Nazi-occupied Poland. Educated at the University of Vienna and practicing until the war in Cracow, Bornstein in his scientific work dealt comprehensively with various neurological topics, bringing to Israeli medicine the best of pre-War European neurological diagnostics and combining them with the latest achievements of genetics. He was a teacher of many prominent Israeli neurologists.

Background And Objectives: Brain frailty may impair the ability of acute stroke patients to cope with the injury, irrespective of their chronologic age, resulting in impaired recovery. We aim to investigate the impact of brain atrophy on functional outcome assessed at different time points after endovascular thrombectomy (EVT).
Methods: In this retrospective post hoc analysis of the ESCAPE-NA1 trial, we analyzed CT imaging data for cortical atrophy by using the GCA scale, including region-specific scales, and subcortical atrophy by using the intercaudate distance to inner table width (CC/IT) ratio.
