Purpose: To report a case of a large foveal sub-internal limiting membrane hemorrhage from sickle cell retinopathy in a pediatric patient.
Observations: A five-year-old boy with sickle cell disease (SCD) type SS (HbSS) and numerous complications was referred after a failed vision screening and was found to have a large yellow subacute sub-internal limiting membrane hemorrhage overlying the fovea in his right eye. There were several other peripheral salmon patches noted.

Purpose: To analyze the genetic findings, clinical spectrum, and natural history of Best vitelliform macular dystrophy (BVMD) in a cohort of 222 children and adults.
Design: Single-center retrospective, consecutive, observational study.
Participants: Patients with a clinical diagnosis of BVMD from pedigrees with a likely disease-causing monoallelic sequence variant in the BEST1 gene.
Background Visual performance relies on essential functions such as contrast sensitivity, color vision, and visual reaction time. While studies have suggested that tinted lenses can enhance these visual functions, their effects on specific aspects remain insufficiently explored. Understanding the potential benefits and implications of tinted lenses is crucial for prescription considerations.

Purpose: This is an observational, non-invasive study which measures the VEPs of twelve individuals, at baseline, and under the effect of six monochromatic filters used in visual therapy, to understand their effect on neural activity to propose successful treatments.
Methods: Monochromatic filters were chosen to represent the visible light spectrum, going from red to violet color, 440.5-731 nm, and light transmittance from 19 to 89.
