A kind of sulfur-doped carbon dots was prepared which were encapsulated with polydopamine (S-CDs@PDA) that has fluorescence response on polyethylene (PE) microplastics (MPs). Modified membranes were constructed using S-CDs@PDA for MP detection. Through heating and vacuum filtration process, yellow emission from the modified membrane appeared because of the combination between S-CDs@PDA and PE MPs.

Introduction: Acute kidney injury (AKI) is a common complication of acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) and multiple organ dysfunction syndrome (MODS) in patients receiving extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) support, leading to requirement of continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) in 70% of ECMO patients. Parallel arrangement of CRRT and ECMO circuits is common in adult patients. However, CRRT may also be integrated directly into the ECMO circuit.

Lateral flow immunoassays (LFAs) are widely used in point-of-care testing (POCT) for detecting small molecules. However, their application is often hindered by the complex synthesis of traditional chemically synthesized antigens. Nanobody-based coating antigen mimics have shown excellent analytical performance in various immunoassay platforms, but their application in LFAs still faces challenges.
