Purpose: To compare functional outcomes, recurrence rate, range of motion (ROM) and return to sport between arthroscopic Bankart repair with remplissage (BR) and open Bankart repair with inferior capsular shift (OBICS) in contact and collision athletes with recurrent anterior shoulder instability.
Methods: A prospective comparative cohort study of 90 patients separated into two study groups (OBICS and BR) of 45 collision and contact athletes each was conducted. All athletes had subcritical glenoid bone loss (SGBL) ≤ 10% and off-track Hill Sach lesions (HSLs).

Multidirectional shoulder instability represents an ongoing challenge for orthopaedic surgeons, and multiple techniques have been described to treat this condition. Posterior glenoid dysplasia is a known risk factor for posterior instability as well as persistent or recurrent instability following posterior stabilization procedures. Recurrent shoulder instability complicated by capsular insufficiency due to underlying soft tissue disorders or multiple prior failed surgical procedures poses a challenging surgical problem.

Purpose: To determine in the long-term the rate of osteoarthritis of recession wedge trochleoplasty performed in patients with high-grade trochlear dysplasia and recurrent patellar dislocations. The hypothesis was that the rate of secondary osteoarthritis was low.
Methods: Fifteen consecutive patients (17 knees) undergoing a recession wedge trochleoplasty surgery for recurrent patellar dislocation were retrospectively included.

Purpose: To describe the clinical and radiographic outcomes of patients undergoing a lateral opening distal femur osteotomy (DFO) to address valgus alignment and restore patellar stability.
Methods: A retrospective review of patients who underwent lateral opening DFO for recurrent patellar instability in the setting of valgus leg alignment at a single academic institution between January 2016 to December 2021 was performed. Patients without a minimum 24-month postoperative follow-up were excluded.
Purpose: To compare the clinical efficacy of single-bundle versus double-bundle reconstruction of the medial patellofemoral ligament (MPFL) for recurrent patellar dislocation (RPD) regarding knee function scores, postoperative complications, and imaging assessments.
Methods: A computerized search of PubMed, Cochrane Library, Embase, China Biomedical Literature Database (CBM), China National Knowledge Network (CNKI), and VIP Database was performed for single-bundle versus double-bundle reconstruction of the medial patellofemoral ligament for treatment of RPD. Randomized controlled trials (RCTs) were evaluated for quality using the risk-of-bias evaluation tool recommended by the Cochrane Collaboration Network, and Cohort studies (CSs) were assessed using the Newcastle-Ottawa Scale (NOS) scale.
