Background: Aneurysmal bone cysts (ABCs) are slow-growing, expansile bone tumors most often observed in the long bones and lumbar and thoracic spine. Anterior column ABCs of the spine are rare, and few cases have described their surgical management, particularly for lesions with extension into the odontoid process and the bilateral C2 pedicles. In the present case, the authors describe a two-stage strategy for resection of a symptomatic 2.

Introduction: The three-dimensional evaluation of patients in the gait laboratory is a diagnostic method that is gaining ground in various orthopedic pathologies and, in the case of ankle fractures, can more accurately detail the degree of joint limitation.
Objective: To present the importance of laboratory gait studies in the postoperative period of ankle fractures associated with syndesmosis ligament injuries, increasing the arsenal for assessing whether the surgical approach and outcome were satisfactory.
Methods: Case series of 13 patients who underwent surgical treatment for ankle fractures associated with syndesmosis injuries, evaluated postoperatively in the gait clinic using the BTS GAITLAB hardware program.

Background: Midfoot pain is common but poorly understood, with radiographs often indicating no anomalies. This study aimed to describe bone, joint and soft tissue changes and to explore associations between MRI-detected abnormalities and clinical symptoms (pain and disability) in a group of adults with midfoot pain, but who were radiographically negative for osteoarthritis.
Methods: Community-based participants with midfoot pain underwent an MRI scan of one foot and scored semi-quantitatively using the Foot OsteoArthritis MRI Score (FOAMRIS).

Background: To compare the clinical outcomes of inferior extensor retinaculum (IER) augmentation following repair of the anterior talofibular ligament (ATFL) with isolated ATFL repair in patients with an arthroscopically confirmed grade 3 lesion of the ATFL.
Methods: We conducted a retrospective study of consecutive chronic lateral ankle instability (CLAI) patients who underwent arthroscopic ATFL repair between March 2018 and August 2022. The average age of the patients was 31.

Cranial cruciate ligament (CCL) disease causes variable stifle instability assessed by specific clinical tests. Radiographs are performed to measure the tibial plateau angle (TPA) for planning tibial plateau leveling osteotomy (TPLO) surgery. Concomitant damage to other intra-articular structures, for which clinical detection is unreliable, may occur and potentially affect the surgical outcome.
