Purpose: Calcar-guided short-stem total hip arthroplasty (THA) has shown excellent clinical outcomes. However, the migration pattern of such prostheses and its effect on clinical outcomes are less known. Therefore, we assessed the five-year subsidence after calcar-guided short-stem THA and its implications on clinical outcomes, patient-related factors, and complications.

Purpose: To assess the technical success and complication rates of CT-guided fiducial marker placement for the localization of pulmonary nodules and to assess the surgical localization failure rate.
Materials And Methods: This was a single-center, retrospective analysis of consecutive patients who underwent CT-guided fiducial marker placement procedures between 2014 and 2020. End points included the technical success of the fiducial marker placement, procedural complications, and the surgical localization failure rate.

Objective: The aim of this study was to compare the periprosthetic BMD changes around Tri-Lock "Bone Preserving Stem" with the other two common and longer stems (Corail and Summit) after THA.
Methods: It was a retrospective cohort study followed patients underwent the total hip arthroplasty from January 2013 to December 2015. They were selected and followed from January 2013 to Janaury 2020.

March 2022
Department of Gynecology, Center for Endometriosis, Hospital St John of God, Vienna, Austria.
Objective: To compare the preoperative detection of endometriosis using transvaginal sonography (TVS) supplemented by transabdominal sonography (TAS) with surgical assessment of disease, using the #Enzian classification for endometriosis.
Methods: This was a prospective multicenter diagnostic accuracy study of women undergoing TVS/TAS and radical surgery for deep endometriosis (DE) at different tertiary referral centers. The localization and grade of severity of the endometriotic lesions and adhesions were described according to the criteria of the #Enzian classification, both at preoperative ultrasound examination and during surgery.
