The rising incidence of noncommunicable diseases, combined with the costs of mitigating climate change, sovereign debt and regional conflicts, is undermining global health security and threatening progress towards achieving the sustainable development goals of the United Nations. The negative impact of these polycrises is disproportionately borne by low- and middle-income countries, which have the highest disease burden and lowest health-care spending. Health digitalization is emerging as a promising countermeasure, accelerated by artificial intelligence (AI) software and quantum computing hardware.

Introduction: The full-scale Russian war has caused Ukrainian female refugees to experience many stressful events which may have an adverse impact on their mental health. Understanding the prevalence and determinants associated with anxiety is essential for psychosocial support. The study aimed: to evaluate the psychometric validity of the Ukrainian version of the Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI) among Ukrainian female refugees in the Czech Republic, to determine the prevalence of anxiety, and to identify key determinants for anxiety in this population.

The presence of an aberrant right hepatic artery (a-RHA) could influence the oncological and postoperative outcomes after pancreaticoduodenectomy (PD). A comparative study was conducted, including patients who underwent PD with a-RHA or with normal RHA anatomy. The primary endpoints were R1 resection in all margins (pancreatic, anterior, posterior, superior mesenteric artery, and portal groove), overall survival (OS), and disease-free survival (DFS).
