CARIDEX, is a new approach to pediatric operative dentistry. An in vitro study with the aim of comparing the efficacy of the CRS system against the conventional caries removal system was carried out by studying the dentin topography following caries removal by the two systems restorative materials--Silver amalgam, Composite resin, Glass Ionomer, IRM nad Poly--F to the CARIDEX treated dentin using the Housfield Tensometer. The results were evaluated statistically and significant results were observed.

Objectives: To compare, in vitro, the efficacy of three proprietary silver diamine fluoride (SDF) products in mitigating progression of dentinal caries induced by an inter-kingdom, dual-species, bacterial-yeast biofilm.
Methods: Human dentin blocks were demineralized to create artificial caries lesions and randomized into three SDF test groups: Saforide, Topamine, T-SDF, and an aqueous control (n = 26 per group). After application of foregoing SDF variants, the blocks were incubated with Streptococcus mutans and Candida albicans for 24 h for biofilm development, and subsequently subjected to a microbe-induced, pH-cycling process for 7 days, to mimic the oral eco-system.

Objectives: Orangutans are found in tropical rainforests of Borneo (Pongo pygmaeus) and Sumatra (Pongo abelii and Pongo tapanuliensis), and they are primarily considered frugivorous species. However, ecological studies reported differences in feeding behavior between these species. P.

Background: Hybrid ceramics bonding with the dentinal substrate is crucial for clinical success and longevity. To enhance adhesion, the surface of ceramic restorations is modified through various conditioning techniques AIM: Effect of Different Surface Conditioners Erbium-doped yttrium aluminum garnet (ER: YAG) laser and Low-level laser therapy (LLLT) activated Methylene blue (MB) on the surface roughness (Ra) and shear bond strength (SBS) of Polymer infiltrating ceramic network (PICN) discs bonded using different viscosity resin cement before and after thermal aging.
Material And Methods: One hundred and fifty human central incisors and one hundred and fifty-three PICN discs were prepared.

Introduction: Biodentine, a calcium silicate-based material, is known for its biocompatibility and ability to promote dentin regeneration. With their unique branching structure, polyamidoamine (PAMAM) dendrimers have shown promise in facilitating biomimetic remineralization processes.
Aim: This study investigates the synergistic effects of combining PAMAM with Biodentine on root dentin remineralization, aiming to develop a novel bioactive compound that offers superior protective and regenerative properties.
