The ground states of two-species condensates with spin-1 atoms have been studied analytically and numerically. All the results from the analytical approach are checked by the latter. The [Formula: see text] channel has been neglected, where λ is the coupled spin of two different atoms.

Electrocatalytic gas-evolving reactions often result in bubble-covered surfaces, impeding the mass transfer to active sites. Such an issue will be worsened in practical high-current-density conditions and can cause sudden cell failure. Herein, we develop an on-chip microcell-based total-internal-reflection-fluorescence-microscopy to enable operando imaging of bubbles at sub-50 nm and dynamic probing of their nucleation during hydrogen evolution reaction.

Pillar stability has garnered significant attention owing to the effects of pillars on coal resource recovery rate, coal pillar stability, and coal bump risk. This study examined the roadway stability control principles of conventional and yield coal pillars. The conventional coal pillars were designed as load-bearing structures with a high load-bearing capacity to carry most of the abutment load, while yield coal pillars were designed as buffer structures for transferring rapidly increasing abutment loads to adjacent solid coal ribs by progressive deformation.

Rationale: Aortoesophageal fistula (AEF) is an exceedingly rare yet critically life-threatening condition, with mortality rates nearing 100% if not addressed promptly. AEF often develops in the context of thoracic aortic aneurysms, esophageal malignancies, or as a complication of foreign body ingestion and prior thoracic aortic surgeries. This study reports an exceptionally severe and clinically rare case of AEF associated with a pseudaneurysm induced by esophageal stenting.

Gout is a systemic metabolic disorder caused by elevated uric acid (UA) levels, affecting over 1% of the population. The most common complication of gout is gouty arthritis (GA), characterized by swelling, pain or tenderness in peripheral joints or bursae, which can lead to the formation of tophi. At present, western medicines like colchicine, febuxostat and allopurinol are the primary treatment strategy to alleviate pain and prevent flare-ups in patients with GA, but they have significant side effects and increased mortality risks.
