Small bowel stenosis in patients with Crohn's disease leads to abdominal symptoms and can affect prognosis. The Simple Endoscopic Score for Crohn's Disease for the large bowel has been applied to the small bowel; however, stenosis scoring may be overestimated since it has a long diameter. This retrospective study aimed to devise a new endoscopic scoring system including the small bowel and evaluate whether it predicts the prognosis of Crohn's disease.

Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) is a chronic inflammatory disease that affects the axilla, inframammary folds, buttocks, inner thighs, and anogenital regions. Patients with moderate to severe HS often seek care in the emergency department and may require hospitalization; however, the lack of clear admission criteria and management guidelines presents significant challenges. Purpose Of Review: We describe the evolution of caval valve implantation (CAVI) as a treatment for severe symptomatic tricuspid regurgitation (TR) in the high surgical risk patient.
Recent Findings: Surgical treatment of severe TR is often limited by the high surgical risk of the patients who tend to develop severe secondary TR. Coaptation, annuloplasty, and orthotopic replacement strategies are all limited by annular and leaflet geometry, prior valve repair, and the presence of cardiac implantable device leads.
