Choroidal nevus is the most common intraocular tumor, and most cases are benign and have no symptoms. However, choroidal nevus carries a low risk for transformation into melanoma, which is a highly aggressive and deadly cancer. In this case report, we present a male patient with blurred vision in his left eye for six months.

In vivo confocal microscopy (IVCM) is a non-invasive imaging technique used to visualize the layers of the cornea and conjunctiva in real time. In patients with atopic keratoconjunctivitis (AKC) and vernal keratoconjunctivitis (VKC), this technology can be useful in diagnosing and monitoring the disease, as well as evaluating the efficacy of treatments. IVCM can reveal subclinical abnormalities in the corneal and conjunctival epithelium such as inflammatory cell infiltrates and tissue damage, which can provide insight into the pathogenesis of AKC.

Allergic conjunctivitis (AC) is characterized by inflammatory responses in the conjunctiva and is often complicated by atopic dermatitis and mechanical irritation. Vernal keratoconjunctivitis (VKC), a severe subtype of AC, presents unique challenges in its diagnosis and management, particularly in pediatric patients. This case report describes an eight-year-old girl with VKC who exhibited poor adherence to a prescribed regimen of 0.

Background And Objectives: Lichen planopilaris (LPP) and frontal fibrosing alopecia (FFA) are common causes of cicatricial alopecia. While several studies have demonstrated the usefulness of non-invasive imaging methods such as reflectance confocal microscopy (RCM) and optical coherence tomography (OCT) for the diagnosis of scarring alopecia, this study aimed to identify characteristic features of cicatricial alopecia in LPP/FFA using line-field confocal OCT (LC-OCT).
Patients And Methods: Fifty-one patients (26 LPP, 24 FFA, 1 LPP and FFA) were prospectively analyzed with LC-OCT at three defined locations on the scalp: (1) scarring area = lesion, (2) scar-hair boundary = transition zone and (3) healthy area for the presence of the following pre-defined criteria: no hair follicles left, destructed hair follicles, dermal sclerosis, no rimming of the dermal papillae, epidermal and dermal inflammatory infiltrate, infundibular hyperkeratosis, dilated blood vessels, hypervascularization, melanophages, epidermal pigment incontinence.
Aims: To demonstrate the relationship of dependency between the thickness of the retinal nerve fiber layer and the functional sensitivity of the retina in healthy young individuals. We also secondarily investigated the relationship between refractive error and mean retinal thickness in the macula.
Material And Methods: The basic cohort contained 30 subjects with an average age of 23.
