Cytomegalovirus (CMV) reactivation is a rare complication in patients treated with immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs), typically occurring after immunosuppressive therapy for immune-related adverse events (irAEs). Here, we report a unique case of severe CMV gastritis in a patient receiving cemiplimab, an anti-PD-1 antibody, and talimogene laherparepvec (T-VEC), an oncolytic virus, without prior irAEs or immunosuppressive treatment. A 63-year-old man with advanced cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma received cemiplimab for one year and a single T-VEC injection for recurrent disease.

Unlabelled: Necrotizing gastritis is an infrequent entity with unknown prevalence, the diagnosis is often incidental during exploratory laparotomy or autopsies of patients with acute abdomen.
Objective: To present a clinical case of necrotizing gastritis, a rare entity that should be taken into account in the context of immunocompromised patients with associated risk factors.
Clinical Case: 7-year-old male schoolboy diagnosed with T-precursor acute lymphoid leukemia, finishing induction chemotherapy cycle with PETHEMA 2013 protocol.

What Is Known And Objective: Proton pump inhibitors are potent suppressors of gastric acid secretion, and are commonly prescribed in palliative medicine. Despite multiple relevant indications in patients at the end-of-life, their use is often precluded as oral and intravenous administration is frequently inappropriate or not possible. Limited anecdotal evidence suggests proton pump inhibitors may be administered subcutaneously.

Background: Gastric electrical stimulation (GES) is a promising therapy for children with severe nausea and vomiting, but information on long-term outcomes is limited. We sought to evaluate the long-term efficacy and safety of GES and to describe patient benefit and satisfaction.
Methods: Using a prospective registry, we identified patients aged <21 years treated with GES at our institution between 2009 and 2019.

Cholelithiasis is more common in patients with Crohn's disease (CD) than in the healthy population. The aim here was to examine risk factors for cholelithiasis in a cohort of CD patients and to compare the prevalence of cholelithiasis in a cohort of CD patients with that in a control group. This was a single-center retrospective case-control study.
