A series of aminocarbamic acid derivatives, containing fragments of substituted hydrazine and dithiocarbamic acid, was synthesized. The immunopharmacologic studies showed these that derivatives exerted immunotropic, mainly suppressive effects (PFC, circulating immunoglobulins, E-RFC, A-RFC). Some of these compounds, however, caused significant increase of weight of the popliteal lymph nodes. The immunotropic activity of the newly synthesized preparations is comparable with the action of sodium diethyldithiocarbamate (imuthiol).

Unlabelled: Apple bitter rot is caused by various Colletotrichum spp. that threaten apple production globally resulting in millions of dollars in damage annually. The fungus causes a decline in fruit quality and yield, eventually rotting the fruit and rendering it inedible.

The antioxidant properties of some 3-dithiocarbamic flavanones were investigated. Based on a previous study, we selected three frameworks that proved to be the most active ones. By varying the nature of the substituent at the para-position of flavanone ring , a structure-activity relationship study on radical scavenging activities was performed.

We have developed a novel protocol for carbonylative homocoupling of arylboronic acids using dithiocarbamate esters as the carbonyl alternative. A series of arylboronic acids underwent smooth reaction with dithiocarbamate ester (MeNCSMe) in the presence of Pd(PPh)Cl catalyst, Cu(OAc)·HO additive, and NaCO in DCE solvent, producing the biaryl ketones efficiently. The mechanism has been studied with the help of several control experiments that reveal the probability of thioamide intermediacy.

Diverse betulinic acid-dithiocarbamate conjugates were designed and synthesized a two-step reaction at room temperature. Among the fourteen dithiocarbamate analogs of betulinic acid, DTC2 demonstrated the best antifungal activity against , with a minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of 4 μg mL, achieving 99% fungicidal activity at the same concentration. These compounds were found to be ineffective against common Gram-negative and Gram-positive pathogens, suggesting their specificity to fungi.

We have developed an efficient gold-catalyzed C-S cross-coupling of various silver-based thionucleophiles with aryl iodides. Our method offers a one-stop-shop solution for synthesizing diverse sulfur-containing aromatics, including aryl thiocyanic acids, aryl diethyldithiocarbamates, aryl sulfones, and aryl thiobenzoates. Our protocol gives moderate to excellent yields and compatibility with various functional groups.
