Central chest rheography was used to study the central hemodynamics in 62 patients with hypertensive disease (grades I-II) before and after treatment. 23 patients (hyperkinetic hemodynamics) were treated with oxygen baths and endonasal lithium chloride electrophoresis; 20 with en--and hypokinetic types of hemodynamics received CO2 baths and endonasal lithium chloride electrophoresis. It is concluded that lithium chloride electrophoresis in association with balneotherapy increases the therapeutic effect in hypertensive disease, especially in patients with the hyperkinetic type of blood circulation.

The successful design and deployment of next-generation nuclear technologies heavily rely on thermodynamic data for relevant molten salt systems. However, the lack of accurate force fields and efficient methods has limited the quality of thermodynamic predictions from atomistic simulations. Here we propose an efficient free energy framework for computing chemical potentials, which is the central free energy quantity behind many thermodynamic properties.

A paper-based potentiometric sensor integrated with a polymeric hydrogel has been developed for sodium ion (Na) determination in human urine. The construction of an all-solid-state ion selective electrode (s-ISE) and an all-solid-state reference electrode (s-RE) on a photo paper substrate was achieved using an inkjet printing method. For s-ISE fabrication, carbon nanotubes (CNTs) and gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) were printed on the substrate as a nanocomposite solid contact.

In recent years, conductive gel materials have attracted extensive attention in the field of flexible electronics because of their excellent elasticity. When constructed as gel fibers, they can adapt to greater deformation, be woven, and be assembled with fabrics to make wearable smart devices without compromising comfort. However, gel fibers reported often exhibit insufficient mechanical properties and poor adaptability to different environment.

Aqueous halogen batteries are gaining recognition for large-scale energy storage due to their high energy density, safety, environmental sustainability, and cost-effectiveness. However, the limited electrochemical stability window of aqueous electrolytes and the absence of desirable carbonaceous hosts that facilitate halogen redox reactions have hindered the advancement of halogen batteries. Here, a low-cost, high-concentration 26 m Li-B-C-O aqueous solution incorporating lithium bromide (LiBr), lithium chloride (LiCl), and lithium acetate (LiOAc) was developed for aqueous batteries, which demonstrated an expanded electrochemical stability window of .

Deep eutectic solvents (DESs) are eco-friendly leaching agents which have emerged as potential candidate for recovery of valuable metals from spent LIBs (lithium-ion batteries). Earlier reports show use of more mount of chemicals, long leaching duration and less efficiency. The present work has been carried out to observe the leaching efficiency of two DES-water blend systems such as ChCl:CA(2:1) +30% HO and ChCl:MA(1:1)+20% HO for the leaching of Li and Co from cathodic material of spent LIBs using design of experiments and optimization through CCD (central composite design) of Response surface methodology(RSM) approach.
