The method of selective epidural phlebography (SEP) was applied in the diagnosis of tumors of the cervical segment of the spinal cord and the roots of cauda equina in 45 patients. The diagnosis was confirmed in 32 of the 37 patients who were operated on. The SEP method does not produce serious complications and allows circulatory disorders in the vertebral venous plexuses to be revealed. The diagnostic value of the method is higher in tumors of superocervical localization and hourglass tumors.

Objectives: Spontaneous intracranial hypotension (SIH) is frequently complicated by subacute subdural hematoma (SDH) and more rarely by bilateral thalamic ischemia. Here, we report a case of SIH-related SDH treated with three epidural patches (EPs), with follow-up of the intracranial pressure and lumbar intrathecal pressure.
Methods: A 46-year-old man presented bilateral thalamic ischemia, then a growing SDH.

The purpose of this article is to present a case of cauda equina syndrome in a patient with incomplete motor and sensory deficits due to epidural venous plexus engorgement, owing to May-Thurner syndrome successfully treated with venous iliac stenting. A 40-year-old woman, with previous history of deep vein thrombosis and miscarriages, gradually developed right leg and back pain, with functional limitation, perineal hypoesthesia, and sphincter incontinence. Magnetic resonance imaging revealed epidural venous plexus engorgement and cauda equina roots involvement.

Background: Overshunting-associated myelopathy (OSAM) is a very rare complication of ventricular shunt therapy, and only 11 previous cases have been reported in the literature. We report the successful surgical management of a case of OSAM in a patient with bilateral jugular vein occlusion and congenital hydrocephalus.
Case Description: A 45-year-old patient with shunt-dependent, congenital hydrocephalus presented to our department with an 8-year history of progressive tetraparesis and gait disturbance.
