Complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS) is an uncommon neuropathic pain illness characterized by extreme discomfort, muscular weakness, limb edema, and hyperhidrosis. Fracture, surgery, stroke, and spinal cord damage are all potential risk factors. This case report study provides a detailed description of no-traumatic CRPS, a complex pain illness characterized by sensory, vasomotor, sudomotor, motor, trophic, and edematous changes and persistent discomfort.

Background: Acupuncture, traditional Chinese herb hot compress and rehabilitation training is useful in post-stroke shoulder-hand syndrome (SHS), but it is less commonly used in combination.

Objective: To analyse the therapeutic efficacy of a combination of acupuncture, traditional Chinese herb hot compress and rehabilitation training in SHS patients.
