Background: Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a chronic and progressive lung disease. Disulfidptosis-related genes (DRGs) may be involved in the pathogenesis of COPD. From the perspective of predictive, preventive, and personalized medicine (PPPM), clarifying the role of disulfidptosis in the development of COPD could provide a opportunity for primary prediction, targeted prevention, and personalized treatment of the disease.

We report the case of a 66-year-old female patient with a treatment refractory disorder of wound healing of the knee, who had already been treated several times surgically and with antibiotics for several months. The examination revealed a skin defect with a fistula in the region of the knee joint. The X‑ray imaging showed an extensive bony defect of unclear etiology.

() is the primary agent of bovine tuberculosis (TB) in Mediterranean buffalo, which has a negative economic impact on buffalo herds. Improving TB diagnostic performance in this species represents a key step to eradicate efficiently this disease. We have recently shown the utility of the IFN-γ assay in the diagnosis of infection in Mediterranean buffaloes (), but other cytokines might be useful immunological biomarkers of this infection.

Background: With the proportion of tuberculosis cases that are extrapulmonary tuberculosis (EPTB) increasing in recent years, understanding and addressing factors contributing to the prolonged time to diagnosis (TTD) of EPTB patients is vital.
Methods: We enrolled presumptive EPTB patients for a cohort study from 2018-2020 in Ujjain, India. Based on a structured questionnaire, the patients were interviewed for socio-demographic and clinical information, including previously visited health facilities (HF) for this illness.
