MoS coatings are used extensively in aerospace and defense applications due to their ultralow friction and high wear resistance. Burnished and resin-bonded MoS coatings are commonly used in these applications due to simplicity in deposition and history of use, despite issues with consistency in coating properties and performance. Physical vapor deposition (PVD) of MoS thin films has emerged as a process alternative in the past 50 years, promising far greater control over film structure and composition but at a greater cost.

To investigate the bacterial community structure and physicochemical characteristics of different types of Daqu in the Binzhou region, this study employed traditional pure culture methods, high-throughput sequencing technology, and conventional physicochemical assays for analysis. The research results indicate that Enterococcus faecium and Bacillus licheniformis emerged as the main LAB and Bacillus species in Daqu from Binzhou region, respectively. The interconversion between singlet and triplet spin states of photogenerated radical pairs is a genuine quantum process, which can be harnessed to coherently manipulate the recombination products through a magnetic field. This control is central to such diverse fields as molecular optoelectronics, quantum sensing, quantum biology and spin chemistry, but its effect is typically fairly weak in pure molecular systems. Here we introduce hybrid radical pairs constructed from semiconductor quantum dots and organic molecules.
