Activating a robust immune system is a crucial strategy for combating solid tumors and preventing recurrences. Studies have shown that cuproptosis and the resulting increased reactive oxygen species (ROS) can trigger immunogenic cell death (ICD) and modulate the tumor immune microenvironment, thereby activating systemic immunity. Therefore, for this purpose, it is important to design a multifunctional copper-based nanomaterial.

Biotransformation of a pharmaceutical precursor, phenylacetylcarbinol (PAC), could be achieved by frozen-thawed Candida tropicalis whole cells (FT-WHC). The treatment of FT-WHC, which contained intracellular pyruvate decarboxylase (PDC) enzyme, using high-power ultrasonication with varying amplitudes were compared with glass bead attrition (GBA) as well as control for the release of PDC. Ultrasonication at 20% amplitude (Ult20) proved to be the most effective, resulting in the highest volumetric and specific PDC activities of 0.

Statement Of Problem: Airborne-particle abrasion (APA) with alumina combined with a primer or luting resin containing a phosphate monomer has been well established for resin bonding to zirconia. However, a standardized method for bonding to zirconia is unavailable, as some factors including the optimal pressure of airborne-particle abrasion, the cleaning method, and the luting resin system are still unclear because of the limited available data.
Purpose: The purpose of this in vitro study was to evaluate the influence of different airborne-particle abrasion pressures and different cleaning methods of zirconia on the tensile bond strength (TBS) of 2 luting resins system containing methylacryloyloxydecyl-dihydrogenphosphate (MDP) either in the primer or in the luting resin.

The field of physical therapy is advancing and using focused ultrasound to deliver drugs into the brain gains growing interest. However, the blood-brain barrier makes it difficult for drugs to enter. Finding safe and efficient physical therapy strategies to complement drug treatments is essential.

This condition complicates both diagnosis and treatment, and cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) is a valuable tool for assessing the extent of damage and guiding treatment decisions. This report presents 3 clinical cases of cemental tear.
