This study aims to determine and compare the reference values of the haematological and biochemical blood parameters of two fish species collected from the Gökova Bay (Muğla, South-Western of Türkiye): the non-native and invasive Randall's threadfin bream, and the native Common pandora, . Both species inhabit the same environment and compete for resources. Blood samples were collected from a total of 100 fish samples (50 and 50 ) which were caught from a depth of 30 to 60 meters between February 2023 and July 2024.

The use of biomarkers to identify high-risk patients and predict PIS may provide considerable reference value in clinical decision-making. Background: Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) are highly prevalent diseases that constitute enormous public health problems. The efficacy of dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitors in blood glucose control in T2DM patients with NAFLD has been established, but little is known about its effect on liver enzyme levels.
Objective: This meta-analysis aimed to evaluate the influences of DPP-4 inhibitors on alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and aspartate aminotransferase (AST) in patients with T2DM and NAFLD.

Objectives: To explore the predictive factors for non-response to intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG) in children with Kawasaki disease (KD) and to establish an IVIG non-response prediction scoring model for the Sichuan region.
Methods: A retrospective study was conducted by collecting clinical data from children with KD admitted to four tertiary hospitals in Sichuan Province between 2019 and 2023. Among them, 940 children responded to IVIG, while 74 children did not respond.

Methods: We retrospectively studied consecutive CAP patients from 2020 to 2021, comparing laboratory parameters between patients with and without T2DM.
