Numerous studies have shown that hyperlipidaemia is closely related to the gut microbiota, and the study of microbiota in the treatment of hyperlipidaemia is undoubtedly a new target for the treatment and prevention of hyperlipidaemia. The efficacy of regulating the gut microecology and changing the structure of gut flora has been demonstrated by both western and traditional medication, biological therapy, and dietary exercise, so it is particularly important to study the relationship between gut microbiota and the treatment of hyperlipidaemia. In this review, we summarize the mechanism and relationship between the pathogenesis of hyperlipidaemia and gut microbiota, and the mechanism of hyperlipidaemia treatment by influencing the gut microbiota in various treatment modalities, which provides diversified therapeutic ideas and scientific basis for clinical treatment.

Background: Exercise-based cardiac rehabilitation programs (CRP) are recommended for patients following acute coronary syndrome to potentially improve high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) levels and prognosis. However, not all patients reach target HDL-C levels. Here we analyze the dynamics and predictors of HDL-C increase during CRP in patients following ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction or occlusion myocardial infarction.

Objective: Accurate measurement of pelvic floor muscle (PFM) strength is crucial for the management of pelvic floor disorders. However, the current methods are invasive, uncomfortable, and lack standardization. This study aimed to introduce a novel noninvasive approach for precise PFM strength quantification by leveraging extracorporeal surface perineal pressure (ESPP) measurements and machine learning algorithms.

Background: Evidence of the effectiveness of physiotherapy, including muscle strength training, coordination training, aerobic exercise, cycling regimen, balance training, gait training, and activity of daily living training, in patients with degenerative cerebellar ataxia (DCA) was insufficient for clinical decision making. We aimed to explore clinical outcomes and examine the parameters associated with physical impairment and activity in people with DCA based on preregistration (PROSPERO: CRD42024493883).
Methods: The PubMed, Cochrane Library, CHINAL, and PEDro databases were searched for relevant randomized controlled trials (RCTs).

Objective: To verify the efficacy of smile training in improving gait disturbances in patients with Parkinson's disease (PD) exhibiting neuropsychiatric symptoms.
Methods: A single-case BAB design with three intervention periods (B1, A1, and B2) was used. During periods B1 and B2, 10 min of smile training (facial muscles training and positive thinking training) was performed before the usual exercise therapy.
