Potassium is a harmful impurity in the rhenium sinter, which adversely affects its mechanical properties by significantly reducing the density of sintered rhenium. Cationic resin is a promising material for potassium removal. In this study, the strong acid cationic exchange resin C160H was pretreated with an HNO solution to enhance its performance in potassium removal.

Purpose: Drug-induced liver injury (DILI) is one of the most common and serious adverse drug reactions related to first-line anti-tuberculosis drugs in pediatric tuberculosis patients. This study aims to develop an automatic machine learning (AutoML) model for predicting the risk of anti-tuberculosis drug-induced liver injury (ATB-DILI) in children.
Methods: A retrospective study was performed on the clinical data and therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) results of children initially treated for tuberculosis at the affiliated Changsha Central Hospital of University of South China.

Background: Nonthermal, pulsed shortwave (radiofrequency) therapy (PSWT) is a nonpharmacologic, noninvasive modality that limited evidence suggests provides analgesia. Its potential favorable risk-benefit ratio stems from its lack of side effects and significant medical risks, applicability to any anatomic location, long treatment duration, and ease of application by simply affixing it with tape. Even with a relatively small treatment effect, PSWT might contribute to a multimodal analgesic regimen, similar to acetaminophen.
